Lallemand Abbaye Yeast
Lallemand Abbaye Yeast is a Belgian strain that produces a spicy fruitiness, typically found in Trappist and Belgian style Ales. Abbaye yeasts flavour palate will vary depending on the temperature used to ferment your brew. At lower temperatures, the darker, fruitier aromas of Raisins and Figs are most evident. Whereas at higher temperatures, you will find more tropical or spicy aromas, specifically Banana.
Percent solids: 93% – 97%
Flocculation: Medium to High
Styles: Belgian White, Belgian Blonde, Belgian Golden, Dubbel, Tripel, and Quad.
